What a Proper Weekly Visit Covers
A professional weekly pool maintenance visit should cover three areas: physical cleaning, water chemistry, and equipment checks. Any service that only does one of these isn't doing the full job. Here's what we include at every visit.
Physical Cleaning
Every visit includes skimming the surface to remove leaves, insects, and debris. We brush the walls and waterline where needed to prevent algae build-up. Skimmer and pump baskets are emptied. The pool floor is vacuumed as required. This keeps the pool visually clean and prevents organic matter from breaking down in the water.
Water Chemistry
We test the water at every visit — pH, free chlorine, and alkalinity at minimum. Based on the results, we adjust chemical levels to keep the water balanced, safe, and comfortable. All standard chemicals (chlorine, pH adjusters, algaecide) are included in our weekly plans. You won't receive surprise invoices for routine chemical use.
Equipment Checks
We visually check the pump, filter, and skimmer system at every visit. We monitor filter pressure, check for leaks or unusual noise, and ensure the circulation system is running properly. While we're not pump engineers, we catch problems early and flag them before they become expensive.
